On The Battle at Lake Changjin, I worked as a Lighting TD using Clarisse and Nuke, primarily contributing to the explosion-heavy shots in the train attack sequence. I applied detailed Lighting Supervisor notes to refine the lighting and maintain the show’s artistic tone, with a strong focus on achieving seamless plate matching for realistic CG integration. I created advanced slap comps to support early look development and ensure alignment between departments. My work required careful attention to the dynamic interaction of lighting with FX elements, particularly within fast-paced, destruction-driven sequences.
